The Sea
Moon-drenched waves breach their distant sands. They dance in time to the wind's immortal soul, Shifting the
sea in its endless form, And for a supreme moment, Reigns in celestial grandeur, To caress the mere mortality of
man.

Unexpected Gifts
I found a pearl upon a rocky beach
A treasure that seemed to be meant for me.
As my fingers touched to examine it,
I lost myself in its radiant glow.
The rich smooth luster felt like silk
From its core, heavenly essence did flow.
While cradling this gift bestowed to me,
Tingling warmth from it did pour.
From the palm of my hand.
To the center of my pounding heart
Until I felt consumed with love.
Such a gift is not to be taken lightly,
But cherished and held in a special place,
For this, I thank you God above.

It’s Raining
Come, come on baby, come back to bed,
It’s raining outside, the sky is dark.
Sink your teeth into my soul,
Upon this fair skin, leave your mark.
Hear the rolling thunder crash,
Rumbling so hard it shakes the walls,
The streaks of lightning’s violent crack,
My shameless desire calls.
Come, come on baby, come back to bed,
It’s raining outside, the sky is dark.
Leave the world to fend for its self,
In abandoned gales, let out journey embark.
Feel my heart pound in time with yours,
Untamed tremors run through this core,
Wild passions set free and flow,
In open heavens our pleasures soar.
Come, come on baby, come back to bed,
It’s raining outside, the sky is dark.
The storm has quieted and rain falls soft,
Upon this heart you leave your mark.

Sandman
Betwixt and between that land of sleep,
Where nightmares crawl and sweet dreams keep,
I hover endless upon a blackened brink,
Praying for my soundless deep.
Sandman teases allowing me to slip,
Pulls me back just as quick,
Futilely resting my weary brain,
Thoughts a blarin’ like a midnight train.
He laughs at my unnatural daze,
Watches me wander through his foggy maze,
Eerie faces flash in distorted waves,
Upon my stressed out psyche, his hunger preys.

One and Only
She is his one and only,
The secret to his smile.
She is where he goes,
When he stops to think awhile.
Inside his mind he plays
His mini video of her.
Views her playful ways
Remembers why he loves her so,
She’s why he plans to stay,
With her own illuminating smile,
She is his one and only,
She is where he goes.
He is her one and only,
The warmth within her heart.
He is where she goes,
When he and she are far apart.
Inside her mind she thinks
Of his sexy little smile,
How much fun she’d have
To be with him awhile.
Remembers why she loves him,
He’s the reason she plans to stay,
He is her one and only,
He is where she goes.

A Pair of Tiny Wings (revised)
A pair of tiny wings, Were special made for you, With softest downy feathers, The purest
pearly hue.
The tips are brushed with love, They sparkle like your eyes, Glint with drops of sunshine, Gleam
in heavens bluest skies.
Melded to perfection, They catch the faintest swish, Upon the currents carry you, Wherever
you may wish.
Your tiny essence hovers, With silent compassion you leave a kiss, To ease the heavy sorrow, Where
once there was such bliss.
All simple things of mortals, You now understand, Through eyes of ancient wisdom, You
behold what God had planned.
Through your new found answers, You see the questions in their eyes, Enfold them
in your spirit, To comfort their angry cries.
Wishing they could feel, Your love and warmth inside, Knowing
some day in the future, Their tears will all subside.

Angel of Death
The Angel of Death has been looking over my shoulder,
As of late he has been more visible, growing bolder.
How is it I see him? What the hell did I do?
I hate this phase I’m going through.
Don’t want to think of Death,
He’s all White & Black
What is it, in my life, that I lack?
Not sure what I did to draw his attention….
Just little things………to trivial to mention,
So far, I have managed to keep him at bay.
Remember I love you, just in case, he should take me away.
